The Pietersburg Diving School is a professional scuba diving organization for the benefit of all divers. We provide the diver with everything that any amateur scuba diver should need. It is not possible to participate in any scuba diving excursions in South Africa or Mozambique without a valid international scuba diving certificate. We recognize the following international scuba diving certificates: CMAS, NAUI, PADI, SSI.
Resort courses
Resort courses are run as requested: A resort course is only valid for one month, for a maximum depth of ten meters and with the instructor doing the training. It is a short course and ideal for the tourist on holiday to south africa!
Full courses
Our full courses are run on a group basis over two weekends or as needed by a tour group

Scuba Do in Zanzibar provide snorkeling, scuba diving and a full range of PADI scuba diving courses. Scuba Do is located on the unspoiled Kendwa beach at the northern tip of Zanzibar. We access the spectacular local marine life and coral reefs using semi-rigid speed boats and top quality equipment. We follow all PADI standards and guidelines to give you the most rewarding scuba learning experience. We also offer you flexibility and arrange your course to fit your holiday plans. Zanzibar diving and snorkelling is amongst the most spectacular in the world with stunning coral gardens and more than 350 fish species. The aquatic life off Zanzibar’s coast includes turtles, dolphins, as well as occasional sightings of humpback whales and whale sharks! Our 20 magnificant dive sites offer adventure and variety for beginners as well as experienced divers!

We plan our dives around the tides to offer you the best visibility and least currents. You my choose drift diving, deep diving, fish identification or an exhilerating night dive! Kendwa Reef offers lovely coral bommies close to shore in shallow water, however our diving and snorkelling trips are all by boat. Snorkellers may choose to go to Kendwa Reef and Kendwa Gardens which are located 800 meters out from our dive base and hence only a couple minutes by boat. Enthusiastic snorkellers may choose to swim to the reef.
Boats & Equipment
We dive from inflatable boats which drop us on the dive site and then pick us up after surfacing, so no long surface swims back to the boat! We travel to the dive sites quickly and safely. Dolphins also love our boats! Each of our boats are powered with NEW, twin Yamaha 85hp engines and they are equipped with marine radios to enable communications both between boats and with our bases. Each boat also has a Garmin GPS to ensure precise and accurate drops on dive sites.

Our diving trips are all child friendly and promises to be an unforgettable experience for the whole family, divers and non divers alike. Wherever possible we attempt to organize boat trips and snorkel excursions for the kids and non divers.

SCUBA COURSES
Experienced Scuba Instructors and Dive Masters look after you and make sure that your scuba diving experience is a good one. Our diving courses are internationally recognized and you are able to Scuba Dive anywhere in the world with your NAUI scuba diving qualification.

We are suppliers of major brands of scuba equipment, TUSA, Mares, SUUNTO, Reef, Scuba Pro and we also offer scuba gear rentals.
SCUBA DIVING TRIPS
Join us on our scuba diving trips to the coast. Some of the places we visit: Sodwana Bay, Aliwal Shoal, Protea Banks, Mozambique, Zanzibar and The Red Sea. Included on our Scuba Trips are: a trip T-Shirt which is unique to each trip and a cd at the end of the trip with all your underwater photo’s and land pictures.
SCUBA DIVING CLUB
Join the Scuba Club and experience the hospitality of our Scuba Club members and Dive Masters. You will make plenty of new friends, and will never battle to find a dive buddy again. There are NO MEMBERSHIP FEES, all you need to do is join us at our monthly socials and sign up on our mailing list so that we can keep you informed. It makes no difference whether you are a NAUI Diver, PADI Diver or affiliated to any other organization, you are more that welcome to join the club.
