Learn to Dive Today will assist you to experience the rich and diverse oceans surrounding the Cape Peninsula, whatever your level of scuba diving experience. We offer PADI scuba diving courses, from Discover Scuba Diving and Open Water (for the complete novice) to Divemaster, the first step to a professional diving career.
Learn to Dive Today also arranges guided dives to the shore entry locations around the Cape Town coastline, as well as regular boat dives with our preferred boat charters. Kit rental and air fills are available to visitors who come diving with us. As DAN Business members we hold to the highest safety standards.
Tony, Learn to Dive Today’s instructor and dive leader, has been diving for nearly 20 years, and has worked in Jordan, Mozambique, and Sodwana Bay before coming to the Cape. He endeavours to communicate his enthusiasm and love for the marine environment to his students and fellow divers. As a keen underwater videographer himself, he is sensitive to the needs of those who love to take pictures underwater!
Scuba diving in Cape Town is exhilarating, with wrecks – both recent and historic – accessible to both beginner and advanced divers, brilliantly coloured invertebrate life, soaring pinnacles surrounded by fish, rocky reefs, kelp forests, playful seals, and the placid sevengill cowsharks who allow divers to enter their silent realm. Visit the Learn to Dive Today website for a link to our blog, which is regularly updated with images and reports of the diving we do in the abundant oceans of our city.
